Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Williamsburg is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Williamsburg follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wonderful course. The staff were awesome. We played during a collegiate golf championship. I was so surprised that they allowed us to play and also gave us the attention that we needed while all that was going on. We played the river course. It was challenging and beautiful. My dad took several pictures of the course. I am planning on coming back and enjoying the full resort next time

We spent the weekend here and had a really good experience. The pool area was definitely a highlight. The lazy river was so much fun, there were plenty of chairs and places to relax, and the bar by the pool was a great touch. The shuttle service that takes you around the property was also super convenient. The golf course was beautiful and very well maintained. The greens were fun to play, and you could tell a lot of care goes into keeping the course in great shape. Our room was really nice too. We loved having the little balcony with such a great view. The only thing that was disappointing was that there wasn’t a fridge in the room. We called the front desk and were told one would be brought up, but it never happened, so I’m not sure what went wrong there. The breakfast was really nice, with a lot of options of fruits, breads, etc.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo and it was perfect. The rooms are spacious and have a full kitchen, washer&dryer, plus 2 private decks. We loved the river pool and lazy river, it was clean and great for the kids. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The location is great, right next to all activities and amazing restaurants. Highly recommend staying here with groups for trips! We will come back!
